Our brackets will allow you to fit larger 6.5" speakers in the rear of your Jeep Comanche MJ truck (1986-1992) behind the factory grills.
Clearance is ~1.5" from back of bracket to b-pillar and ~1.25" from front of bracket to back side of plastic b-pillar covers. Our latest version includes spacers to eliminate the need to cut your b-pillar for most speaker models.
Brackets are CAD designed and CNC laser cut/bent using 18 gauge stainless steel.
Brackets are pre-drilled to mount to pre-existing speaker bracket holes. Includes pre-drilled holes for most speaker sizes. Speaker hole measures 5.25" (to fit standard 6.5" automotive speaker).
Includes pair of speaker brackets (1 left, 1 right), 2 spacers, and hardware to attach speakers (8 screws).
Disclaimer: Brackets may have sharp edges--caution. Requires mechanical knowledge and tools to install. Speakers not included.

Have not had a chance to install them yet but they look awesome. I'll probably be painting them for protection but probably not necessary!
Now running JBL 6.5" speakers in my rear spots. Fills the cabin a lot better than the stock speakers.
