Replace that rusted or damaged tailgate handle on your Jeep Comanche MJ truck. This kit includes a new stainless steel handle and all necessary hardware (spring, stainless nuts/bolts, rubber bumpers, and rod clips). This allows you to refurbish your tailgate handle assembly by reusing your existing backing plate mechanism with our new stainless steel handle and hardware.
Included parts:
- (1) Tailgate Handle - 14 gauge stainless steel (CNC laser-cut and bent)
- (3) M6 Torx Bolts -- These attach the handle to the tailgate (stainless steel)
- (2) M5 Bolts & Nuts -- These join the handle to your backing plate assembly
- (2) M5 Nylon Washers -- These reduce scraping between components.
- (1) Tension Spring -- This retracts the handle after use, specifically sized for this purpose (stainless steel).
- (2) Plastic Rod Clips -- These attach the actuator rods to the handle assembly.
- (2) Rubber Bumpers -- These prevent "slamming" of the handle.

Does not include backing plate (pictured in black).
