This kit allows you to utilize a 97+ Cherokee coolant overflow bottle in a Renix-era (1987-1990) Jeep Cherokee XJ or Comanche MJ. We achieve this by replacing the original coil module bracket with our new stainless steel solution.
The design allows you to reuse your existing coil bracket nutserts and installation hardware and requires minor modification to the relay bracket by moving it outward ~2" and removing/bending the diag port portion (pictured below).
We offer this kit with or without hardware. You should be able to use your preexisting coil module bracket bolts and source #10/M4 bolts for the coolant bottle. If you opt for our included hardware, it includes all new stainless steel M8 bolts/nuts for the bracket and coolant bottle.
Coolant bottle not included (use Dorman 603-305) . Bracket is stainless steel and does not require painting (but you can do so if you desire).
