87-90 Electric Speedometer Conversion Sensor Adapter

If you're looking to convert your bouncy mechanical speedometer on your 87-90 Jeep Cherokee XJ or Comanche MJ to an electronic 91+ model, this sensor adapter will allow you to properly install a 91-96 3-wire speed sensor into your transfer case/transmission with a mechanical speed cable.

This adapter includes the attachment bolt and goes between the speed sensor and the metal speedometer gear housing.  Works with Dorman 917-654 or OE sensor and metal speedometer gear housing (this is the same for 87-96 and is interchangeable).

Does not include sensor, speedometer gear, or metal speedometer gear housing.
